RETAIL EXECUTIVE

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products.
  • Achieve individual and store sales targets.
  • Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns effectively.
  • Maintain attractive product displays and ensure shelves are fully stocked.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment and stock counts.
  • Ensure the store is clean, organized, and compliant with company standards.
  • Promote ongoing sales campaigns, promotions, and loyalty programs.
  • Assist with opening and closing store procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to deliver an excellent shopping experience.
  • Prepare basic sales reports and provide feedback to supervisors on customer preferences and market trends.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a diploma in Business, Retail Management, or a related field is an advantage.
  • Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-focused with a positive attitude.
  • Good selling and negotiation skills.
  • Basic computer and POS system knowledge.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Able to stand for extended periods and lift light to moderate merchandise when required.
