Key Responsibilities

- Preparing and cooking a variety of Indian dishes, including vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.

- Following recipes and adjusting spices and ingredients to meet customer preferences.

- Managing food prep, including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients.

- Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and work area.

- Ensuring proper storage of ingredients and leftovers.

- Monitoring cooking times and temperatures to ensure food safety.

- Collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure timely service.

- Ordering and managing inventory of ingredients and supplies.

- Adhering to health and safety regulations and standards.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in Indian cuisine cooking.

- Knowledge of Indian spices, herbs, and cooking techniques.

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

- Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.

- Culinary training or certification is a plus.

- Ability to adapt recipes to accommodate dietary restrictions or preferences.

Working Conditions

- Working hours may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
