Internship - Environment, Safety and Health (ESH)

The student will be responsible to work with the ESH team to strengthen safety, health and environmental communication, employee engagement, documentation and continuous improvement activities across the site.

Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• ESH Training & Communication: Update ESH training and communication materials, including posters, slides, digital notices, and short videos.
• Employee Engagement: Support employee engagement activities and mini-projects covering safety, health, and environment.
• Documentation & Tracking: Assist the ESH team with documentation, record-keeping, data consolidation, and follow-up tracking.
• Reporting & Presentation: Prepare simple reports, dashboards, and presentation materials for ESH meetings, campaigns, and audits.
• ESH Administration & Projects: Support other ESH administrative or project tasks as assigned.

Internship Learning Outcomes:

• ESH Practices Exposure: Gain exposure to ESH practices in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
• ESH Operations Understanding: Understand how ESH activities support workplace safety, employee health and environmental compliance.
• Communication & Documentation Skills: Develop skills in ESH communication, documentation and follow-up coordination.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build confidence in working with different stakeholders through campaigns, meetings and training support.

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• Education: Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in ESH, Engineering, Science, Sustainability or a related field.
• Interest & Motivation: Interested in workplace safety, health, environment and manufacturing operations.
• Communication & Technical Skills: Good communication skills and comfortable using Microsoft Office; video editing skills are an advantage.
• Work Attitude: Positive, organised, detail-oriented and willing to learn.
• Preferred Intake: Jan 27 – May/June 27.
