Logistics Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Supervisor to enhance our warehousing and distribution operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient logistics processes and fostering team performance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory levels and develop effective inventory management strategies to minimize stock shortages and surpluses.

• Oversee the loading, unloading, and transportation of goods while ensuring compliance with safety protocols and procedures.

• Assist with deliveries as required to ensure smooth logistical operations.

• Liaise with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to resolve logistical issues or concerns.

• Maintain accurate records of all logistics-related activities, including shipments, deliveries, and inventory movements.

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance logistics efficiency and productivity.

• Provide training and support to the logistics team to ensure they possess the necessary skills to perform their duties effectively.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably in the manufacturing, transport, or warehousing sectors.

• Class 3 Driver license and Forklift license are required.

• Strong knowledge of inventory management principles, warehousing practices, and transportation logistics.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Proficient in data analysis and problem-solving, with a proven ability to identify and implement process improvements.

• Experience in supervising and leading a team, demonstrating the capacity to motivate and develop staff.

• Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and safety standards.

• Proficient in using logistics management software and other relevant technologies.
