VP, Legal & Compliance

We are seeking a skilled legal professional to provide comprehensive transactional advisory services and legal support. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance and risk management in legal affairs.

Responsibilities

• Provide transactional legal advisory for corporate lending business across the Asia Pacific region, excluding Japan.

• Negotiate GMRA master agreements and related vendor agreements for branch entities.

• Interpret Singapore banking laws and regulations as required.

• Conduct legal research and analyze case precedents to inform decision-making.

• Support corporate secretarial compliance through verification of reporting and filings.

• Identify and assess legal and compliance risks within the organization.

• Offer legal and practical solutions to stakeholders.

Requirements

• LL.B. or equivalent legal qualification.

• Strong drafting, reviewing, and negotiating skills for contracts.

• In-depth understanding of relevant banking laws, guidelines, and regulations.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and contribute to team success.
