About the Role

We are looking for a creative Pet-Friendly Interior & Furniture Designer to design functional, stylish, and pet-safe spaces for both commercial projects and residential homes.

You'll work on a variety of projects, including pet cafés, pet hotels, grooming salons, daycare centres, retail stores, veterinary clinics, and pet-friendly homes, creating environments that enhance the lives of pets and their owners.

Key Responsibilities

• Design pet-friendly interiors for commercial and residential spaces.
• Create custom pet furniture, built-in feeding stations, pet nooks, cat walls, climbing systems, dog play areas, and integrated storage solutions.
• Develop space planning, mood boards, 3D renderings, and presentation materials.
• Produce technical drawings and specifications for fabrication.
• Select durable, pet-safe, and sustainable materials.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and fabricators throughout project execution.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in pet-friendly design, furniture, and hospitality.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Industrial Design, Furniture Design, or a related field.
• Portfolio showcasing interior design or furniture projects (pet-related work is an advantage).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, Revit, 3ds Max, or similar software.
• Strong understanding of ergonomics, materials, and space planning.
• Passion for pets and creating safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing environments.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple freelance projects.
