Dog Groomer

About the Role We are looking for a passionate and skilled Dog Groomer to join our team. If you love working with dogs and take pride in delivering high-quality grooming services while ensuring every pet feels safe and comfortable, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Perform bathing, drying, brushing, nail trimming, ear cleaning, de-shedding, and breed-specific grooming to maintain dogs’ health and appearance
• Assess each dog's coat, skin, and overall condition to identify and report any health concerns to pet owners
• Maintain safety, comfort, and wellbeing of every dog throughout the grooming process
• Keep the grooming salon clean, hygienic, and organized to ensure a safe environment
• Recommend appropriate grooming schedules and pet care products to customers based on individual dog needs
• Provide clear, friendly communication and exceptional customer service to build lasting relationships with pet owners
• Collaborate with daycare, pet hotel, and retail teams to deliver a seamless and positive customer experience

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Previous experience as a professional dog groomer is preferred
• Grooming certification is an advantage
• Passion for animals demonstrated by gentle handling skills
• Ability to groom dogs of various breeds and sizes
• Responsible, patient, and able to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Willingness to work weekends and public holidays when required
