Application Analyst (Technology Refresh / Mandarin / Banking)

We are looking for an experienced Application Analyst for our client in Singapore which is a leading global investment bank. The successful candidate will interact with a variety of technology groups and support Technology Refresh / NPT (Non-Permitted technology) remediation projects and security vulnerabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Interact with a variety of technology groups and support Technology Refresh / NPT (Non-Permitted technology) remediation project and security vulnerabilities.
• Work with Project lead, Technology teams and vendors to track overall progress and technical requirements.
• Participate in the full project lifecycle, raise Nexus/ITSM requests to engage various technology team for server build up and components installation.
• Perform SIT test and coordinate user UAT to ensure project delivered with good quality.
• Experience of the full lifecycle of software development and delivery, well versed with SDLC
• Perform hands-on technical tasks related to risk, security and other compliance deliverables assigned by application manager.
• Provide regular updates to project lead, to evidence progress against plan for assigned deliverables
• Troubleshoot problems in non-prod environments

Requirements

• Multilingual in English and Mandarin to interact with Stakeholders in Taiwan
• Good Understanding of SDLC/technology concepts and terminology.
• Possess past experience in Technology Refresh or Non-Permitted technology (NPT) remediation projects
• MS SQL/Oracle SQL working experience, familiar with stored procedures, TSQL etc.
• Experienced in one or more of the following programming languages (Java, C++, ASP, C#, Python, Java script, shell script).
• Understanding of HTTPS, REST, JSON, Web Service, TCP/IP, Linux/Unix commands.
• Understanding popular Middleware and configuration e.g Apache, IIS , Weblogic, Tomcat, WAS etc.)
• Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills, strong at Process, System, and Data analysis
• Ability to use standard MS Office products: Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint
• Experience in DevOps and familiar with CI/CD process for auto deployment
• A good team player but also able to work independently with strong problem solving skills and work well in matrix management environments
