Job Summary
Lead and manage end-to-end procurement, logistics, and billing operations to ensure product availability, cost optimization, and strong supplier and customer relationships. Coordinate cross-functionally to resolve issues and drive operational profitability.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the end-to-end quotation process and service contracts to ensure accuracy, competitiveness, and alignment with business goals
- Resolve escalated issues and disputes by coordinating cross-functional teams while maintaining strong customer relationships
- Oversee billing operations including invoice and credit note generation to ensure compliance with corporate policies and financial controls
- Take full ownership of logistics and supply chain operations to meet product availability demands and optimize costs
- Monitor operational profit and loss, implement cost control measures, and identify opportunities to enhance productivity and profitability
- Manage daily logistics workflows, verify shipping arrangements, audit stock takes, and control section expenditures including vendor pricing and expense invoices
- Oversee the full purchase order cycle for air and sea freight, maintain updated order trackers, and proactively flag issues
- Build and maintain supplier relationships, monitor supplier performance, negotiate commercial terms, and resolve supply, quality, and delivery issues promptly
- Monitor manufacturing status of materials at the factory in China and maintain up-to-date status reports
- Prepare weekly shipment and manufacturing status reports
- Coordinate work schedule with two weeks stationed in Singapore and two weeks in China on a rotating basis
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in a relevant discipline
- At least 5 years of procurement or sourcing experience in the construction industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Effective bilingual communication skills in both spoken and written Mandarin and English to engage with Mandarin-speaking clients
- Ability to travel as required to support business operations, customer needs, and project requirements
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively within teams
- Self-disciplined, well-organized, and capable of working independently
- Meticulous, process-driven, and demonstrates strong integrity
- Creative and resourceful with innovative problem-solving abilities
