Job Summary
Lead and shape regional supply chain strategies for Wingstop, driving new market entries, franchisee support, and global collaboration to optimize sourcing, commercial outcomes, and risk management across multiple categories and markets.
Responsibilities
- Build and lead regional supply strategies across direct (food, packaging, equipment) and indirect (logistics, services) categories to support brand growth.
- Develop and evolve category management plans using demand signals, market intelligence, and brand growth insights.
- Design and implement scalable sourcing strategies leveraging global partnerships while adapting to local and regional market nuances.
- Lead supply chain scoping and execution for new market entries, including pre-market assessment, supplier qualification, and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure timely and on-scope completion of all activities within the Stage Gate New Market Entry (NME) process.
- Identify and deploy new distribution and sourcing models across strategic markets to support expansion.
- Act as a supply chain business partner to franchisees by resolving challenges with agility and commercial rigor.
- Provide structured support on forecasting, product availability, service KPIs, and pricing to franchisees.
- Foster a proactive, service-first mindset balancing speed, cost, and quality for Brand Partners at all maturity stages.
- Collaborate with Global Supply Chain (GSC) teams in FSQA, Culinary, Legal, Strategic Sourcing, and Distribution to ensure enterprise-wide alignment.
- Drive product standardization, joint-supplier leverage, and innovation through cross-regional projects.
- Support implementation and optimization of Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI), and procurement digitization initiatives.
- Lead commercial negotiations and vendor contract management to achieve cost savings, service excellence, and quality targets.
- Monitor raw material trends, macroeconomic factors, and logistics disruptions; recommend and implement mitigation strategies.
- Guide supplier transitions and oversee material change projects across multiple SKUs and markets.
Required competencies and certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, Economics, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of international or regional supply chain leadership experience within QSR, foodservice, FMCG, or CPG sectors.
- Proven expertise in category strategy, global sourcing, and franchise supply chain support.
- Deep sourcing and procurement skills including RFP/RFI management, contract negotiation, and total cost of ownership (TCO) modeling.
- Strong business acumen with ability to analyze financials, supplier scorecards, and market analytics.
- Proficient in ERP, MRP, and data platforms such as Power BI.
- Willingness and ability to travel 25%-50% within APAC and occasionally to other regions.
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- MBA degree.
- Six Sigma certification.
- Project management certification.
- Experience leading complex projects and managing cross-cultural, matrixed teams.
- Demonstrated leadership skills including talent development and influence without authority.
