Financial Institution Business Development Manager

Job Responsibilities

  • Strategic Roadmap & Market Analysis: Identify new business opportunities and support the execution of the company's business development strategy within the financial institution sector.
  • End-to-End Partnership Management: Manage the full partnership lifecycle, including prospecting, relationship building, commercial discussions, onboarding and post-launch account management.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Develop and maintain relationships with banks, payment institutions, fintech companies and strategic partners.
  • Account Growth: Grow existing client relationships by identifying cross-selling and new business opportunities.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitor activities and regulatory developments to identify business opportunities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Product, Compliance, Operations and Customer Success teams to ensure successful implementation and on boarding.
  • Events: Represent the company at industry events, conferences and networking activities to expand business opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Marketing or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Business Development, Partnerships or Sales within fintech, payments, banking or financial services.
  • Good understanding of the payment’s ecosystem digital wallets, remittance or cross-border payment solutions.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
