Role Overview

Lead the company’s IT function by ensuring technology services are reliable, secure, cost-effective and aligned with business objectives. The IT Manager is responsible for IT governance, cybersecurity oversight, stakeholder engagement, budgeting, procurement, and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities

IT Leadership & Strategy

  • Develop and maintain the company’s IT roadmap and technology strategy.

  • Align IT initiatives with business priorities and operational needs.

  • Lead and develop the IT team to ensure service excellence and continuous improvement.

  • Establish IT policies, standards, and operating procedures.

Governance, Risk & Compliance

  • Oversee cybersecurity governance and risk management activities.

  • Ensure compliance with DPTM, PDPA, client security requirements, and other applicable regulations.

  • Chair or coordinate IT and cybersecurity governance meetings.

  • Review and approve risk assessments, risk acceptances, and remediation plans.

  • Ensure readiness for internal and external audits.

Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the primary IT contact for management and business stakeholders.

  • Gather business requirements and translate them into technology solutions.

  • Communicate technology risks, incidents, and improvement initiatives to management.

Vendor & Contract Management

  • Manage IT vendors, suppliers, and service providers.

  • Evaluate technology solutions and negotiate contracts.

  • Monitor vendor performance and service delivery.

Financial Management

  • Prepare and manage IT budgets.

  • Oversee hardware, software, and licensing expenditures.

  • Plan hardware refresh and technology lifecycle management.

Security Oversight

  • Provide management oversight for cybersecurity initiatives.

  • Ensure vulnerability management, incident response, and security awareness programmes are effectively executed.

  • Review security reports and remediation progress.

Service Management

  • Ensure IT services meet agreed service levels.

  • Monitor IT operational performance and user satisfaction.

  • Drive continual improvement initiatives.

Skills & Qualifications

Educational Qualification & Experience

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

  • Relevant professional certifications such as ITIL, CISSP, CISM, PMP, or cloud certifications (e.g. AWS, Azure) would be an advantage

  • 7 – 10 years of managing IT operations experience.

  • At least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.

Technical Skills

  • IT infrastructure and cloud technologies.

  • Microsoft 365 ecosystem.

  • Cybersecurity governance and risk management.

  • IT service management practices.

  • Vendor and contract management.
