Senior Business Analyst (Insurance)

We are hiring an experienced Senior Business Analyst with strong expertise in the Insurance domain, SQL, and Data Analytics. The role will partner with business stakeholders, technology teams, and data teams to gather requirements, analyze business processes, support solution delivery, and drive data-driven decision-making across insurance operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Translate requirements into functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
• Support insurance business areas such as policy administration, underwriting, claims, billing, renewals, and customer servicing.
• Perform data analysis and use SQL for data validation, reporting, impact analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support Agile ceremonies, UAT, defect management, and production validation.
• Prepare BRDs, FRDs, process maps, and data mapping documents.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend data-driven solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of Business Analysis experience, preferably within Insurance or Financial Services.
• Working hand-on experience in Data management
• Strong knowledge of insurance processes, products, and operations.
• Hands-on SQL experience with relational databases and data validation.
• Experience in data analytics, reporting, KPI analysis, and business insights.
• Strong stakeholder management, documentation, and communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Power BI/Tableau, Excel, and Visio/Lucidchart.
