Assistant Restaurant Manager (Shisen Hanten)

Responsibilities

• Ensure employee discipline, training and enforce house rules, including staff grooming and

appearance

• Check reservation book and the entertainment schedule. To check on customer requests, special

or VIP arrangements to be accommodated

• Inspect all service stations and table set-ups. To check and control the lighting systems and

consistently monitor the audio systems in accordance to the volume of guests

• Consistently monitor the cleanliness of all areas and to apply and ensure application of

procedures and regulations concerning hygiene and safety

• To monitor and control service station assignments

• Assist in scheduling, record keeping, and initiating of reports, requisition and maintenance

orders

• Assist in managing operational inventory

• Make sure that all rules concerning ordering and billing are respected. To coordinate and control

the activity of cashiering

• Maintain good customer relationships, anticipating guests’ needs and providing flawless,

professional and upscale guest service experiences

• Pay attention to guest comments and suggestions, and immediately take all required corrective

measures to deal with customer’s complaints and comments

• Maintain the highest integrity and personal presentation at all times

• Any other duties as assigned by the Management
