Job Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, implement, integrate, test and commission a national public safety and security system.

  • Develop custom software solutions and integrate them with specialised commercial products.

  • Ensure high quality, reliability, and performance of delivered applications.

  • Participate in the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using Microsoft technologies.

  • Perform database development, management, and reporting using Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).

  • Develop and maintain enterprise messaging and application integration solutions.

  • Build and support XML Web Services and IBM MQ integrations.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver system enhancements and resolve technical issues.

  • Prepare technical documentation and provide post-implementation support when required.

  • Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

  • At least 4 years of experience, hands-on experience in Microsoft C# development within the .NET ecosystem.

  • Good understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) concepts and enterprise application development.

  • Experience developing applications on Windows Server 2019/2016 and Windows 10 platforms.

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2019/2017/2016, including Standard SQL and Microsoft T-SQL.

  • Experience developing reports using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server (TFS).

  • Experience with enterprise messaging and application integration solutions.

  • Knowledge of XML Web Services and IBM MQ programming.

  • Proficiency in JavaScript and Python.

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and support mission-critical systems.
