Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and service-oriented Retail Assistant to join our retail team across multiple locations. You will be responsible for delivering an excellent shopping experience, maintaining product displays, and supporting daily store operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with product inquiries and recommendations
- Provide excellent customer service to both local and international shoppers
- Perform cashiering functions including payment processing, refunds, and exchanges
- Ensure merchandise is well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing
- Assist with inventory management: receiving goods, tagging, replenishing stock, stock-take activities
- Maintain store cleanliness and housekeeping standards at all times
- Support store opening and closing procedures
- Handle customer feedback and escalate concerns when needed
- Assist in promotional activities and events when required
Requirements
- GCE ‘N’ / ‘O’ Levels or equivalent
- Prior retail or customer service experience preferred but not required (training provided)
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail and tourist-centric environment
- Ability to stand for long hours and carry out light physical duties
- Able to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays
