Senior Production Supervisor (Up $5K)

Supervise day-to-day activities of production. Provide guidance to ensure that production and quality goals are met and plant rules are enforced.
Ensure all products are produced within quality guidelines and manufactured as per schedule.
Identify, recommend and help implement means to improve area’s operation, including quality enhancements, safety improvements, employee development, efficiency improvement and cost reductions.
Co-ordinate with NPI team to ensure First articles are shipped on time
Prepare and submit all required reports especially production schedule report on a timely basis.
Need to monitor manufacturing cycle time, ensure the efficiency targets of all production technicians is met
Need to ensure the Daily/weekly and Monthly O/p targets are met
Monitor scrap and ensure is within the targets
Co-ordinate with Buyer/Planners for shortage of materials and production schedules
Work with Equipment maintenance team in automation projects and ensure daily output of the equipments is met
Plan for Overtime of production team depending on production schedules
Co-ordinate with process Engineering team on daily process issue and improvement projects
Ensure production team is cross trained for optimum use of Technicians

Diploma in Engineering or equivalent with at least 5 years experience or related experience preferred
