As the General Manager, you will act as a key strategic partner & support to the Managing Director (MD). Working in close alignment with leadership, you will oversee day-to-day company operations, lead market expansion initiatives & ensure business excellence & growth across all functional areas including Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain & Regulatory Compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Support & Alignment

  • Work directly alongside & support the Managing Director in translating overall corporate vision into actionable plans & driving key organizational priorities

Strategic Leadership

  • Co-develop & execute long-term business strategies in coordination with the Managing Director to achieve organizational goals & drive sustainable, scalable growth

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee end-to-end operational workflows, ensuring high standards of efficiency, quality control & compliance with industry regulations while keeping the Managing Director regularly updated on performance metrics

Business Growth

  • Direct sales & marketing initiatives to increase market share & strengthen brand positioning across regional markets in line with executive directives

Team Management

  • Provide mentorship & leadership to function heads, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration & professional development while serving as the primary operational bridge between team members, function heads & executive management

Stakeholder Management

  • Build & maintain strong relationships with key partners, healthcare institutions, regulators & external stakeholders

Financial Oversight

  • Monitor financial performance, manage budgets & ensure resource allocation aligns with business priorities

Requirements

  • Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Pharmacy, Healthcare Management, or a related field; an MBA or relevant advanced degree is preferred

  • Core Expertise: Minimum 8 years of progressive leadership experience in overall operations, strategic planning & cross-functional team management within the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or healthcare sectors, with a demonstrated ability to report into & support C-level leadership or Managing Directors

  • Technical & Professional Skills: Strong commercial acumen with deep knowledge of medical sales, marketing, supply chain & regulatory compliance; advanced proficiency in financial oversight, budget management & project management tools; exceptional analytical & problem-solving capabilities

  • Preferred: Proven track record of successfully scaling a business, expanding market share in regional markets & working closely with senior executive management to implement corporate strategy
