Triage Team Lead (Cybersecurity)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a lean team of triage specialists, ensuring quality, efficiency, and timely processing of vulnerability reports.
• Oversee team performance, workload, and resource planning, while providing hands-on triage and validation during peak periods or complex cases.
• Serve as the escalation point for vulnerability validation and severity assessment.
• Mentor and train team members on vulnerability analysis, assessment, and documentation standards.
• Develop and enhance triage SOPs, workflows, tools, and platform integrations.
• Build scripts and automation (e.g., Python and workflow tools) to improve triage processes, reporting, and platform integration.
• Collaborate with government agencies, system owners, security researchers, and the Programme Team to ensure effective stakeholder coordination.
• Analyze vulnerability trends, prepare management reports, and present key findings to stakeholders.
• Support additional programme initiatives as required.

Required Skills & Experience

• Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• OSCP certification is mandatory.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Experience mentoring or leading junior cybersecurity professionals.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Collaborative leadership approach with a focus on team development.
• Experience in Bug Bounty programmes or within government/regulated environments is preferred.
