Job Description:
- Store Operations Management: Supervise daily activities (opening/closing, cash handling, transactions) for accuracy and policy compliance. Monitor sales, analyze trends, implement revenue strategies.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, schedule, mentor staff. Assign tasks, evaluate performance, address concerns. Foster positive work environment.
- Customer Service: Resolve complaints professionally for satisfaction. Train staff on communication and problem-solving.
- Inventory Control: Manage stock through checks, coordinate restocking, prevent waste/shrinkage.
- Visual Merchandising & Store Maintenance: Display products, organize shelves, maintain clean/safe store. Implement promotions.
- Compliance & Safety: Enforce health/safety regulations. Ensure legal and policy compliance to prevent fraud/errors.
- Education & Experience: High school diploma; associate’s degree preferred. 2+ years retail/mini-mart experience, 1+ year supervisory role.
- Skills: Leadership, team management, scheduling/training/performance experience. Communication skills. Proficient in math/cash handling, familiar with POS/inventory software.
- Knowledge: Retail operations, sales, inventory control, loss prevention. Awareness of local regulations.
- Personal Qualities: Detail-oriented, organized, multitasking in fast-paced environment. Problem-solving, decision-making skills. Reliable, strong work ethic.
- Physical Requirements: Stand for extended periods, lift 25kg, perform repetitive tasks. Flexible to work evenings/weekends/holidays.
