Resident Engineer

- Lead on-site supervision of construction activities to enforce compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- Conduct regular inspections and tests on materials and workmanship to verify adherence to project specifications and quality requirements
- Facilitate clear and timely communication between clients, contractors, and project teams to align project objectives and resolve issues
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of daily activities, progress, and inspection reports to support project tracking and evaluation
- Ensure all construction activities comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements to mitigate risks and uphold standards
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals to integrate project components and achieve cohesive execution
- Apply engineering principles and technical knowledge to assess construction processes and recommend improvements
- Manage multiple tasks effectively by prioritizing responsibilities and meeting project deadlines
- Analyse on-site challenges promptly and develop practical solutions to maintain project momentum
- Communicate complex technical information clearly in both written and verbal formats to diverse stakeholders
- Exercise meticulous attention to detail to identify discrepancies and uphold quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or M&E
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in the capacity of RE for supervision of building projects in Singapore.
- Good communication skills
- Accreditation of C&S RE Certificate by IES
