Procurement Executive (Semiconductor Manufacturing)
Location: Singapore
About the Role
We are seeking a Procurement Executive to support our semiconductor manufacturing operations by ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing suppliers, negotiating commercial terms, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring procurement activities comply with company policies and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Source, evaluate, and qualify suppliers to support business and operational requirements.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including RFQs, purchase orders, negotiations, and supplier selection.
- Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and delivery schedules to achieve optimal value.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers while monitoring supplier performance.
- Analyze procurement costs, market trends, and supplier capabilities to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to support manufacturing and production schedules.
- Maintain procurement documentation and ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of procurement or purchasing experience.
- Prior experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment is essential.
- Good knowledge of procurement principles, supplier management, and contract negotiation.
- Experience using ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Syteline, Microsoft Dynamics or equivalent) is preferred.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
