Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Drone Integration Specialist to join our growing team. You will be responsible for the assembly, integration, testing, and continuous improvement of our drone platforms and associated ground systems. This is a practical, build-things-with-your-hands role suited for someone who has been tinkering with drones long before it was a job title.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assemble, configure, and integrate multi-rotor and fixed-wing drone platforms from component level including open-source flight control systems
- Assemble, set up, and maintain concomitant ground systems including Ground Control Stations (GCS) and field communication equipment
- Configure and calibrate ESCs, flight controllers, GPS modules, telemetry radios, RC receivers, and payloads
- Perform soldering, wiring harness fabrication, and electronics assembly to professional standards
- Conduct ground testing, bench testing, and flight testing of new builds and modified platforms
- Document build configurations, test results, and maintenance records accurately
- Support field operations and deployments including test campaigns and client demonstrations
Requirements
- Related field in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics Engineering or equivalent
- Valid CAAS Unmanned Aircraft Pilot Licence (UAPL) is preferred
- Valid Singapore Class 3 driving licence is preferred
- Solid understanding of drone assembly disciplines including frame construction, motor and propeller sizing, power system design, and centre of gravity management
- Experience with assembly and setup of ground systems including antenna systems, GCS hardware, and field support equipment
- Comfortable with basic electronics: multimeter use, continuity testing, soldering, and reading wiring diagrams
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, datasheets, and assembly manuals
