About this role
This is an important role within a private investment office based in Singapore, seeking a Research & Support Executive to support investment and property activities. The position is suited to an analytically curious, well-organised, detailed oriented and independent individual. Discretion and confidentiality are non-negotiables of the position. Suited for an independent worker who is focused, a team player and good in time management.
Key Responsibilities
Research support on equities, bonds and other financial solutions
Source, compile, and organise primary research materials, including regulatory filings, annual reports, earnings transcripts, industry reports, and broker research, to support investment analysis and for Management review.
Monitor news flow, market developments, and key industry reports relevant to the investment portfolio.
Use reputable and reliable AI tools to generate research reports and analyses on companies, industries, sectors, within the family office’s investment framework.
Review and validate AI-generated outputs by verifying facts, identifying inaccuracies or hallucinations, and ensuring the quality and reliability of research.
Maintain earnings calendars, monitor and queue regulatory filings, earnings transcripts, and company announcements of companies in the portfolio; and update AI models and workflows as required.
Summarise research findings and prepare briefing materials for investment committee meetings. Prepare minutes of meetings.
Provide additional research and portfolio management support as required.
Property portfolio & administration
Support the ongoing management and maintenance of a portfolio of physical properties.
Liaise with contractors, property agents, and service providers to coordinate property maintenance and resolve operational issues with the team.
Review tenancy agreements and related documentation, and issue invoices where required.
Conduct site visits and property inspections (as and when required); document findings and follow-up action items.
Maintain good records on team shared drive, to be used in weekly reviews and update with the team.
Assist in other tasks, special projects, and other duties as required.
Key Requirements
1. Proficient in Excel and/or Python.
2. Comfortable reading accounts, background in finance or quantitative discipline.
3. Comfortable using AI tools and evaluating their output critically.
4. Strong written and spoken communication skills, with good comprehension.
5. Analytical, curious, well-organised, detailed oriented and independent individual
6. Familiarity with Bloomberg or similar research platforms is a plus.
7. Willing to learn on the job and contribute to process improvement and efficiency initiatives.
