Assistant Manager , Pathways (Accounting and Audit)

To manage and support the governance, delivery, and continuous enhancement of ISCA's professional qualification and certification programmes, including examination administration, accreditation and module mapping, strategic partnerships, stakeholder engagement, and programme quality assurance. The role ensures effective programme operations, strong collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, compliance with governance requirements, and the successful execution of initiatives that enhance the relevance, quality, and market adoption of the ISCA Financial Forensic Accounting Qualification (FFAQ) and ISCA Sustainability Certifications.

Programme and Examination Governance

  • Oversee examination-related communications and support arrangements, ensuring candidates and stakeholders receive clear guidance on requirements, timelines and processes.

  • Lead end-to-end planning, coordination and quality assurance for professional qualification examinations (including Singapore CA Qualification), including exam development timelines, trial sittings, exam operations, post-exam reviews and issue resolution.

  • Work with examiners, reviewers, vendors and internal teams to ensure assessment deliverables are completed to agreed standards, with risks, comments and exceptions followed through in a timely manner.

  • Oversee examination-related communications and support arrangements, ensuring candidates and stakeholders receive clear guidance on requirements, timelines and processes.

Accreditation, Module Mapping and Partnership Development

  • Assess and support university accreditation or module mapping arrangements for the ISCA Financial Forensic Accounting Qualification (FFAQ) and ISCA Sustainability Certifications.

  • Review mapping materials, coordinate with assessors or subject matter experts, follow up on queries and ensure assessment outcomes are properly documented.

  • Identify and develop new partnerships and market opportunities with Institutes of Higher Learning, professional firms, employers and relevant industry partners.

MOU Partner and Community Engagement

  • Lead engagement with Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) partners, including programme outreach, joint initiatives, partner events and follow-up activities.

  • Coordinate partner discussions, prepare briefing materials and follow through on agreed action items to support programme growth and market relevance.

  • Work with internal teams on programme marketing efforts, including content inputs for EDMs, webpages, collaterals and campaign support.

  • Plan and organise community-building initiatives, including networking sessions, practitioner sharing sessions, webinars and engagement events for the sustainability and financial forensic communities.

  • Support programme outreach and stakeholder engagement activities to strengthen awareness and participation in FFAQ and ISCA Sustainability Certifications.

Committee Secretariat and Governance Support

  • Provide secretariat support to relevant ISCA committees, including preparation of meeting materials, documentation of minutes, follow-up on action items and coordination with committee members.

  • Support periodic reporting, stakeholder updates and documentation needed for programme governance and decision-making.

Programme Content Review and Quality Support

  • Support periodic review of programme content to ensure relevance, quality and alignment with market needs, regulatory developments and professional practice.

  • Coordinate with technical reviewers, trainers, partners and internal stakeholders on learning materials, programme updates and quality improvement actions.

  • Support team projects, process improvements and other ad-hoc workstreams within Pathways and Credentials where required.

  • Accountancy degree from a recognised university. Holding a CA (Singapore) or equivalent professional qualification is preferred.

  • At least 5 to 6 years of working experience in accountancy related fields. Having experience in education or adult learning would be an advantage.

  • Able to work independently as well as in a team.

  • Strong attention to details and meticulous ·

  • Ability to prepare and carry out well-articulated presentations. ·

  • Good written and oral skills. ·

  • Able to work on selected weekday evenings or weekends where required to support examinations, learning support initiatives, candidate and partner engagement events, and institute-wide events.
