Counsellor (Public Sector - UP 5.5k)

Adecco is partnering with a public sector organization to support mental health and counselling initiatives.
We are looking for a Counsellor to provide individual and group counselling, support supervisors in managing team well-being, and deliver educational programmes on mental health.

Postgraduate degree in Counselling, Social Work, or Psychology (required).
Experience in mental health and substance abuse counselling, both in individual and group settings.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and advisory skills.
Basic proficiency in IT and Microsoft Office applications.
Preferably a member of relevant professional bodies such as Singapore Association of Social Workers, Singapore Association for Counselling, or Singapore Psychological Society.

Provide face-to-face and group counselling for personnel, supporting emotional and mental well-being.
Offer consultation and guidance to supervisors on managing mental health within teams.
Collaborate with medical officers, psychiatrists, and psychologists to enhance mental health initiatives.
Perform counselling hotline duty (2 × 24-hour shifts per month).
Conduct educational sessions and workshops to promote mental health awareness and skills.
Support programme logistics, scheduling, and materials preparation.
