Job Summary
Paediatric Clinic Nurse (Enrolled or Staff Nurse) needed to provide care in a busy paediatric clinic. Perform basic procedures, manage digital medical records, support children’s health and patient education in both general paediatric and paediatric rheumatology conditions (training will be provided).
Responsibilities
- Perform minor procedures such as suctioning, swabs and administer subcutaneous and intramuscular injections safely in a paediatric clinical setting.
- Assist the doctors in minor outpatient procedures.
- Assist the doctors in coordinating inpatient care.
- Arrange appointments, blood tests and scans.
- Manage and update digital medical records.
- Use Microsoft Word, familiar with email and other computer applications to facilitate patient care such as procedures and hospital admissions.
- Provide compassionate care and support to children and families in a busy clinic environment
- Communicate effectively in both Chinese and English, to ensure clear patient interactions
- Adapt to a fast-paced clinic with high patient traffic while maintaining quality care standards
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Enrolled Nurse or Staff Nurse certification
- At least 1 year of hospital work experience, preferably with experience in paediatric setting.
- Possession of a Class 3 driver’s license
Other Information
- Basic salary: $3,200 - $3,800 (excluding annual performance-based bonus); negotiable.
- Working hours: Monday to Saturday, 9am - 12:30pm and 2pm - 5pm; half days on Wednesdays and Saturdays (9am - 12:30pm)
