About the Role We are seeking an experienced Business Development Director to drive business growth, develop strategic partnerships, and lead market expansion initiatives. The successful candidate will identify new business opportunities, expand the company's presence, and achieve commercial objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve company growth objectives
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and franchise opportunities to expand market reach
  • Lead market expansion initiatives, focusing on China and Hong Kong, to increase company presence
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners, clients, and key stakeholders to support growth
  • Negotiate commercial agreements to secure favorable terms and support business expansion projects
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities
  • Lead and manage the business development team to meet or exceed sales and business targets
  • Prepare business proposals, reports, and performance updates for management to inform decision-making
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies to maintain operational integrity

Required competencies and certifications

  • Proven track record in achieving business development and sales targets
  • Experience in strategic planning, partnership development, and market expansion
  • Good understanding of the regulatory environment and consumer market in China and Hong Kong
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and Mandarin Chinese to liaise with business partners and clients

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of business development experience, including 3 years in the beauty, wellness, or retail industry
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Results-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
