Job Summary
Develop and execute strategic plans aligned with company vision to drive growth in the China market. Lead cross-functional teams, analyze market trends, manage resources, and build stakeholder relationships to achieve operational excellence and business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with the company’s vision and objectives in the China market
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to inform business strategies
- Lead cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency and drive execution of key initiatives
- Collaborate with senior leadership to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement
- Monitor performance metrics and conduct regular assessments to ensure alignment with strategic goals
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including partners, clients, and regulatory bodies in China
- Oversee budget management, resource allocation, and project prioritization to optimize business outcomes
Required competencies and certifications
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in strategy and operations focused on the China market
- Proven track record of leading strategic initiatives and operational improvements
- In-depth knowledge of the Chinese market, including consumer trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory considerations
- Ability to analyze data and make informed, data-driven decisions
- Leadership skills demonstrated by managing cross-functional teams effectively
- Fluency in Mandarin and English, both written and spoken
- Strong negotiation skills with experience working with local partners and vendors
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, ora related field; MBA preferred.
- Experience in the beauty industry
- Familiarity with digital transformation and innovation strategies
