Job Summary

Develop and execute strategic plans aligned with company vision to drive growth in the China market. Lead cross-functional teams, analyze market trends, manage resources, and build stakeholder relationships to achieve operational excellence and business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with the company’s vision and objectives in the China market
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to inform business strategies
  • Lead cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency and drive execution of key initiatives
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement
  • Monitor performance metrics and conduct regular assessments to ensure alignment with strategic goals
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including partners, clients, and regulatory bodies in China
  • Oversee budget management, resource allocation, and project prioritization to optimize business outcomes

Required competencies and certifications

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in strategy and operations focused on the China market
  • Proven track record of leading strategic initiatives and operational improvements
  • In-depth knowledge of the Chinese market, including consumer trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory considerations
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed, data-driven decisions
  • Leadership skills demonstrated by managing cross-functional teams effectively
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English, both written and spoken
  • Strong negotiation skills with experience working with local partners and vendors

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, ora related field; MBA preferred.
  • Experience in the beauty industry
  • Familiarity with digital transformation and innovation strategies
