What You'll Do
- Analyze player behaviour and product performance to identify opportunities to improve retention, engagement, progression, monetisation, and LTV.
- Design, execute, and evaluate A/B tests, ensuring experiments are statistically sound and lead to actionable product decisions.
- Develop hypotheses and provide data-driven recommendations to optimize gameplay, level design, LiveOps, player protection, game economy, and monetisation.
- Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineering, and Marketing to identify opportunities, prioritize initiatives, and optimize the player experience.
- Build player segmentation, predictive models, and dashboards to support product strategy and decision-making.
- Define success metrics and measurement frameworks for new features and LiveOps events.
- Work with Engineering to ensure accurate event tracking and data quality.
- Present clear insights and recommendations to stakeholders, influencing product strategy and roadmap decisions.
- Research market trends, competitor games, and industry best practices to identify new growth opportunities.
- Utilize AI tools to improve analytical workflows and productivity.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics or Economics
- 7+ years of product analytics, game analytics, or data science experience in the mobile gaming industry.
- Proven experience working on live mobile games, with a track record of improving key product metrics through data-driven decisions.
- Demonstrated success designing and executing A/B tests that resulted in measurable improvements in retention, engagement, monetisation, or LTV.
- Strong expertise in statistics, experimental design, hypothesis testing, causal inference, and predictive modelling.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python (or R) for data analysis.
- Experience with analytics and BI tools such as AppsFlyer, Firebase, Amplitude, Tableau, or similar.
- Deep understanding of mobile game KPIs, including Retention, Engagement, LTV, ARPU, ARPPU, ROAS, Cohort Analysis, Funnel Analysis, and Player Segmentation.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence product decisions through data.
- Passion for mobile games and player behaviour.
- Willing to relocate to Singapore.
