Preschool Educator - Chinese Language

Responsibilities
- Conduct lessons & activities according to our preschool curriculum & programmes
- Implement developmentally & culturally appropriate curriculum to support the holistic development of children
- Create a secure, safe & quality learning environment for children
- Carry out routine care duties for children
- Build meaningful, trustful & respectful relationship with children through good classroom & children management strategies
- Prepare teaching materials & learning centres activities to enhance children’s learning
- Monitor chidlren's developmental progress & prepare termly progress reports & half-yearly portfolio for children as well as conduct parent-teacher-meetings
- Ensure health, safety & hygiene of children & maintain cleanliness at the Centre
- Maintain good communication & establish good rapport with parents & families to build trusting & respectful partnership
- Participates in parents & community engagement activities
- Work closely with colleagues & participates in centre-based events & organization initiatives
- Participates in professional development & continuous learning activities & reflective practice
Qualifications
- Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education - Teaching (DECCE-T) (Chinese Language)
- ECDA accreditation of L2 Teacher
Other Requirements
- Proficient in teaching preschool Chinese Language curriculum at all levels
- Passion in working with & nurturing young children
- Good team player with a positive and can-do attitude
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Dedicated & self-motivated to excel
