Banquet Manager / Assistant Banquet Manager

Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee all banquet & event operations to ensure successful execution and exceptional guest experiences
- Review banquet event orders and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure event readiness
- Supervise banquet setup, service, and breakdown while maintaining company service and presentation standards
- Lead, train, schedule, and motivate the banquet team to deliver professional and efficient service
- Monitor food and beverage quality, service delivery, and guest satisfaction, resolving issues promptly and professionally
- Ensure banquet facilities, equipment, and inventory are maintained, organized, and ready for all events
- Ensure compliance with food safety, workplace safety, company policies and procedures
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating event performance and implementing service enhancements
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Company
Requirements
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, planning and customer service skills, with the ability to manage multiple events effectively
- Knowledge of banquet operations, food safety, hygiene standards, labour scheduling, and cost control
- Excellent organizational, planning, and multitasking abilities with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously
- Able to work on weekends & public holidays
- Have initiative and hardworking with positive attitude to learn and contribute
