Administrative Assistant (6-month Contract)

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end processing of monthly payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with statutory and company requirements;

  • Perform payroll verification, reconciliation, and processing to ensure correct salary payments;

  • Review, validate and process employee claims, including general, transport, overseas, and other approved reimbursement claims;

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders on payroll matters, employee enquiries, payroll system issues, and other related matters;

  • Assist in the preparation of payroll-related reports and month-end journal entries; and

  • Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Human Resource Management, Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent;

  • Good understanding of Singapore Employment Act, CPF regulations, income tax legislation, and payroll processes;

  • Strong attention to detail with excellent numerical and analytical skills;

  • Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks effectively, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment;

  • Positive attitude, proactive mindset, and willingness to learn;

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams; and

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
