Job Summary

We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to support daily accounting operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and finance administration.

Responsibilities

  • Process supplier invoices accurately and prepare timely payments to maintain vendor relationships
  • Prepare customer invoices, record receipts, and follow up on outstanding payments to ensure cash flow
  • Prepare journal entries and assist in maintaining the General Ledger for accurate financial records
  • Perform bank reconciliations and support month-end closing activities to ensure financial accuracy
  • Maintain organized accounting records and file financial documents systematically
  • Assist in preparing finance reports and audit schedules to support compliance and reporting needs
  • Liaise effectively with suppliers, customers, and internal departments on finance-related matters
  • Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned to support the finance team

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Certificate, Diploma or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related field
  • At least 1 year of relevant accounting experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, to manage financial data efficiently
  • Experience with accounting software to streamline accounting processes
  • Meticulous, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams
