Job Summary

Lead and manage front and back-of-house teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences while controlling costs and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards in a dynamic food and beverage environment.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, train, and schedule front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) staff to optimize team performance and operational efficiency
  • Monitor daily sales and analyze labor and food costs to achieve profitability targets
  • Control inventory levels and manage supply ordering to maintain operational continuity
  • Set and enforce service standards to ensure consistent, high-quality customer experiences
  • Greet guests and resolve escalated complaints to maintain 100% guest satisfaction
  • Oversee compliance with health, sanitation, and food safety regulations to ensure a safe environment
  • Manage equipment maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and operational disruptions
  • Foster a positive work culture by resolving conflicts and supporting team development

Required competencies and certifications

  • Food Handler and/or ServSafe certification
  • Relevant state/local alcohol server permits (e.g., TIPS or RSA)

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in the food and beverage industry with supervisory or assistant management roles
  • High school diploma
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or Business Management
  • Proficiency with POS and restaurant management software
  • Strong communication, conflict resolution, and stress management skills
