Job Summary

Lead culinary operations by planning menus, developing recipes, managing kitchen staff, controlling costs, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Plan menus and develop recipes to create dishes that meet quality and taste standards
  • Oversee food preparation and plating to ensure presentation and flavor excellence
  • Hire, train, schedule, and mentor sous chefs, line cooks, and prep cooks to maintain a skilled and motivated culinary team
  • Monitor food and labor budgets, approve product requisitions, and conduct stocktaking to reduce waste and control costs
  • Enforce compliance with health department regulations and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) standards to maintain kitchen safety and sanitation
