Production Supervisor/Engineer

The Role

You will join the production team and play a key role in supporting safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will oversee production support activities, inventory management, logistics coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives to achieve operational excellence while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance.

The Daily

  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily production support activities to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations.
  • Manage production planning, raw material, packaging, and inventory to support uninterrupted manufacturing.
  • Work with cross-functional stakeholders to meet operational and business requirements.
  • Monitor production performance, resource consumption, inventory levels, and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Lead and supervise technicians and contractors, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and operational procedures (May involve shift work).
  • Perform SAP transactions, maintain accurate operational records, and prepare production and inventory reports.
  • Drive troubleshooting, continuous improvement, automation, and digitalisation initiatives to improve plant performance.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO Management Systems, Safety Management System, environmental regulations, and statutory requirements.

The Essential

  • Production Supervisor (Diploma in Engineering) / Engineer (Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline) with relevant manufacturing or process plant experience.
  • Good understanding of production planning, inventory management, process operations, workplace safety, and SAP or other ERP systems.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead teams and solve operational challenges.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and committed to operational excellence, continuous improvement, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
  • Willingness to work in shift when needs arise (i.e. Rotating AM and PM shifts, including weekends and Public Holiday).
