Responsibilities
- Process supplier invoices accurately and ensure timely entry into the accounting system
- Verify invoices against supporting documents and secure proper approvals
- Prepare and execute supplier payments via GIRO, telegraphic transfer, bank transfer, and cheque
- Perform supplier statement reconciliations and bank reconciliations
- Resolve invoice and payment discrepancies with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Support month-end closing activities, including AP reconciliations and accruals
- Assist with GST submissions, audit schedules, and financial reporting
- Maintain organised filing systems and proper accounting documentation
- Provide support for finance administrative duties and ad hoc assignments
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of Accounts Payable experience
- Strong understanding of Accounts Payable processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Experience in trading, import, or export industry is an added advantage
