Job Summary

We are seeking a Course Developer on a contract-for-service basis to design and develop learner-centric, industry-aligned curricula that drive real-world application and support continuous curriculum improvement.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop learner-centric, industry-aligned curricula that enable practical application in creative fields
• Collaborate with curriculum developers, instructional designers, and subject matter experts to create effective training programmes
• Review and enhance training materials based on learner and stakeholder feedback to improve learning outcomes
• Ensure curriculum aligns with adult learning principles and complies with relevant regulatory standards
• Conduct research to identify skills gaps and inform the development of future training programmes
• Manage curriculum documentation accurately in compliance with organisational and SWDA guidelines
• Contribute actively to curriculum improvement initiatives and participate in internal discussions to enhance programme quality

Required certifications

• WSQ DACE or DDDLP (Diploma in Design and Development of Learning for Performance)

Preferred competencies

• Strong knowledge of adult learning methodologies and instructional design practices
• Prior experience in curriculum development, training design, or education
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and project planning skills
• Meticulous and confident in handling curriculum documentation
