Assistant Manager, Product Development & Delivery

The role serves as a key liaison between Business and IT to drive the successful delivery of product, fund and marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment to business objectives, customer outcomes and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with cross‑functional stakeholders to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements, support effective implementation, and proactively manage delivery and operational risks.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to extract, analyse and validate business requirements (including Day 2 functionality).

· Assess and articulate business impacts arising from changes in requirements, process rules, or application enhancement and recommend practical and workable options that addresses business needs.

· Coordinate requirements across sub‑systems and platforms, proactively identify and manage inter‑system dependencies, and drive follow‑through with teams to ensure successful and timely implementation.

· Provide delivery oversight by following through on prioritised requirements to ensure timely, and high‑quality delivery. Provide UAT support by coordinating the analysis and resolution of issues identified during testing, ensuring requirement clarity, traceability, and timely closure,

· Responsible for maintaining up-to-date documentation which is specific and necessary for the targeted product launch or product related initiatives.

· Participate in retrospective discussions and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including the identification and adoption of AI‑enabled use cases to enhance requirements management (e.g. analysis, traceability, impact assessment, and documentation efficiency).

· Take accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.

· Maintain awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.

· Highlight any potential concerns/risks and proactively shares best risk management practices

We are looking for people who

• Holda Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, IT or a related discipline.

• Bringa minimum of 4 years of experience in the life insurance domain, preferably as a Business Analyst or exposure to insurance operations.

• Demonstrate strong analytical and facilitation skills, with ability to engage and align diverse stakeholders across business and IT teams.

• Are structured, detail-oriented, and possess with strong documentation skills.
