Project Manager

About the Role

Transfong Ventures supports science and technology cooperation between Wuxi-based clients and Singapore's innovation ecosystem. You will be our Singapore-based liaison for these projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the Singapore liaison point for Wuxi-related science and technology cooperation projects.
• Support outreach to Singapore government agencies, universities, research institutes, industry associations and technology companies.
• Collect and organise public information on technology projects, industry policies, market trends and cooperation opportunities in Singapore and Southeast Asia.
• Provide bilingual English–Chinese communication support: emails, meeting coordination, notes and follow-up.
• Coordinate meetings between client teams and Singapore institutions, companies and potential partners.
• Support visit planning for delegations to Singapore, including itineraries, institutional visits and local administrative arrangements.
• Maintain project records and report progress regularly.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above; backgrounds in technology management, international business, public policy, engineering or related fields preferred.
• Strong bilingual capability in English and Chinese, able to handle business emails, meetings and research summaries independently.
• Familiarity with Singapore's innovation ecosystem (universities, research institutes, industry associations, technology enterprises) and the ability to build contacts across them.
• Understanding of how Chinese local governments, state-owned platforms and industrial parks operate, and of Wuxi's industrial and science and technology priorities.
• Experience in business development, project coordination, market research, investment promotion, consulting or cross-border cooperation.
• Strong coordination, research and written reporting skills, with attention to detail.
• Must be legally authorised to work in Singapore.
