Job Descriptions
- Support the sales team by providing pre-sales technical consultation for audio-visual (AV) solutions.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable AV systems and technologies.
- Prepare solution proposals, technical specifications, and system designs.
- Conduct site surveys to assess installation requirements and project feasibility.
- Develop equipment lists, bill of quantities (BOQ), and cost estimations.
- Prepare and review technical documentation, drawings, and schematics.
- Deliver product presentations, demonstrations, and technical briefings to customers.
- Respond to technical queries and provide product recommendations during the sales process.
- Coordinate with vendors, manufacturers, and distributors on product specifications and technical support.
- Work closely with the sales and project teams to ensure proposed solutions meet customer and business requirements.
- Assist in preparing tender submissions, technical compliance documents, and bid responses.
- Ensure all proposed solutions comply with relevant industry standards and customer specifications.
- Support project handover by providing technical documentation and solution briefings to the implementation team.
- Keep up to date with new AV technologies, products, and industry trends.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, consultants, and business partners.
- Provide technical support during customer meetings, proof-of-concept sessions, and project discussions.
- Assist in troubleshooting technical issues during the pre-sales stage when required.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Company from time to time.
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Audio Visual Technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in a pre-sales, systems engineering, or technical support role within the audio-visual (AV) industry.
- Good knowledge of professional AV systems, including display solutions, projectors, LED walls, audio systems, video conferencing, control systems, and networked AV technologies.
- Experience in conducting site surveys and assessing technical requirements for AV installations.
- Ability to prepare technical proposals, system designs, equipment specifications, bill of quantities (BOQ), and cost estimates.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office applications, and other relevant AV design or documentation software.
- Familiarity with AV manufacturers and products.
- Strong technical problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical solutions to customers clearly.
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively with sales, project, and technical teams.
- Good project coordination and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Willing to travel to customer sites to conduct surveys, attend meetings, and provide technical support when required.
