Our client, a well-established bank is looking to fill the position of Deputy Treasury Head
Job Description
- Support the Head of Treasury in overseeing the Branch's treasury function, ensuring compliance with the Bank's policies, Head Office guidelines, and MAS regulations.
- Manage liquidity, funding, and treasury activities, ensuring effective risk and balance sheet management.
- Supervise treasury dealers, review treasury transactions, and monitor market developments.
- Prepare treasury reports, market updates, and business recommendations for ALCO and senior management.
- Support the Branch's Asset and Liability Management (ALM) function and participate in key management committees.
- Build and maintain relationships with financial institutions, regulators, and market participants.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Treasury team while driving process improvements and business growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Banking, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
- At least 15 years of treasury or financial markets experience, with proven leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of treasury products, liquidity management, ALM, and regulatory requirements.
