Founded in 2006, Vitruvian Partners is an international investment firm that supports the most ambitious and talented entrepreneurs and companies to achieve their goals. We invest in high growth, dynamic situation buyouts and growth capital investments, from ten offices around the world. We are an entrepreneurial team with c.20 years of investment experience on average amongst the senior team and have a successful track record of creating value in our investments. We are delighted to have successfully raised five consecutive funds at or above target since 2007, growing from VIP I at €925 million to our most recent close of €7.3 billion for VIP V, contributing to funds under management of over $20 billion. The Firm has backed more than 100 companies to date, investing in some of the most innovative, high-growth businesses across Europe and globally. Vitruvian invests across the growth spectrum and in both majority and minority positions, from Series D financings through to growth buyouts, founder partnerships and leverage buyouts, with equity cheques ranging from $50-700m.

As of March 2026, Vitruvian Partners ranked in the top 10 (specifically 9th) of the HEC-Dow Jones performance ranking, highlighting its continued success in the European and global market.

Role:

Vitruvian’s Singapore office is expanding, and the firm is looking for an outstanding Associate to join its highly entrepreneurial team there. The Singapore team focuses on the broader APAC region, including Australia/New Zealand and Southeast Asia. In addition to regional responsibilities, the Singapore-based team will have many opportunities to work collaboratively with colleagues based in both Europe and the US.

Successful candidates for this high-powered role will benefit from an early entry into the private equity industry at a very successful, growth-oriented firm with high deal velocity, as part of an office that itself is growing. Working alongside senior, highly regarded deal-doers as part of a small, focused team, candidates will be able to develop their technical skills and lay strong foundations for a career in private equity/investment management. The role is likely to provide exposure to the full spectrum of industry research, deal generation, valuation, execution, monitoring and exit.

Responsibilities:

· Research on various industry sub-sectors and potential acquisition targets

· Assistance with deal generating activities such as industry events and management meetings

· Deal-related analysis (including valuation), due diligence and process management (including administrative aspects, IC papers, advisors, debt providers)

· Contribution to legal and structural aspects of deals

· Identification and development of promising investment themes and targets

· Contribution to build-out and maintenance of strong industry and intermediary relationships

· Dependable, high-quality contribution to deal execution, monitoring and exit

· Application and continued development of advanced technical skills for superior analytical insights

Skills &Attributes

· Strong at industry research, including collating and analysing information

· Highly numerate; able to manipulate data and produce sound analysis

· Strong intellect

· Experienced with advanced Excel-based modelling

· Entrepreneurial self-starter

· Good interpersonal skills –versatile style; good listener; patient; strong team spirit and professional presentation

· Strong organisational and project management skills

· Excellent communicator, both orally and in written materials

· Drilled in ‘zero defects’ standards for client-ready materials with “first time right” mentality

· Self-starting, strongly ambitious and tenacious: willing to “go the extra mile”

· Motivated to pursue a successful career in private equity/investment management coupled with the right attitude

Organisational Framework:

· Reporting to SVPs, Principals and Partners

· Initial 2-3year programme for Associates

• End of Associate programme could be a sponsored MBA or a direct internal track through to VP via Senior Associate training programme

Qualification and Experience:

· Strong evidence of consistently strong academic performance

· 1.5-6 years of experience post university in either consulting or investment banking, with Australia-market experience a plus

· Preferably some prior financial exposure to the private equity industry

· Successful pursuit of meaningful and interesting extra-curricular activities, ideally including team-based activities
