Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer with experience in Python, Frappe Framework, and ERPNext to join our development team. You will be responsible for developing, customizing, maintaining, and enhancing ERPNext applications while collaborating with internal stakeholders to deliver scalable business solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using Python and the Frappe Framework.
• Customize and extend ERPNext modules to meet business requirements.
• Develop and maintain Custom DocTypes, Custom Apps, and custom workflows.
• Create and modify Print Formats using Jinja templates.
• Develop Script Reports and Query Reports for business analytics.
• Design and optimize MariaDB database structures and queries.
• Build and integrate REST APIs with third-party systems.
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot ERPNext instances using Bench.
• Perform debugging, testing, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with users to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Document technical specifications and system enhancements.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for ERPNext applications.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming.
• Hands-on experience with the Frappe Framework and ERPNext internals.
• Good understanding of MariaDB database design and SQL.
• Experience creating Custom DocTypes and Custom Apps.
• Knowledge of Jinja templating for Print Formats.
• Experience developing Script Reports and Query Reports.
• Familiarity with ERPNext workflows and business process customization.
• Experience with Bench for deployment and server management.
• Knowledge of REST API development and integration.
• Understanding of Git version control.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently and within a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience implementing ERPNext for SMEs or enterprise clients.
• Knowledge of Linux server administration.
• Experience with Docker, Nginx, or cloud deployment.
• Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for ERPNext frontend customization.
• Understanding of accounting, HR, inventory, manufacturing, or CRM modules in ERPNext.
