Manager, Case Management (12 months Contract)

Job Summary
This role is responsible for managing the end‑to‑end New Business (NB) process for High Net Worth (HNW) insurance cases,from submission to policy issuance. The position acts as a key coordinator betweendistributors, referral banks, underwriters, and internal stakeholders to ensuretimely, competitive, and high‑quality case outcomes.
Responsibilities
· Responsible for managing the end‑to‑end HNW New Business (NB)lifecycle to policy issuance accurately and timely, coordinating with distributors, internal Sales & Distribution (S&D), Underwriting, Legal& Compliance, and other internal teams.
· Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and service standards.
· Proactively engage, manage underwriters and distributors to fulfil underwriting requirements, monitor turnaround times, resolve complex enquiries, and facilitate timely policy issuance.
· Study underwriting decisions, compare them with distributor expectations, and provide relevant insights and information to underwriters for consideration
· Build and maintain strong working relationships with HNW distributors, private banks, referral partners, lenders, and internal stakeholders through responsive and high‑touch support
· Maintain accurate records and provide continuous updates to S&D and senior management with application activities
· Monitor and manage NB case pipelines, follow up on outstanding case requirements, identify bottlenecks, conduct pipeline review meetings, and prepare progress updates, analysis, and management reports
· Engage with Business Partner’s Case Managers to understand reasons for cases being placed on hold or not proceeding, particularly under best‑effort underwriting scenarios
· Identify, report and escalate potential incidents and complaints in a timely manner
· Prepare ad hoc analysis and management reports as required
· Handle special projects and other assignments as delegated.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
- Professional insurance qualifications are preferred but not mandatory (e.g. LOMA)
- 8+ years of relevant experience in insurance operations. Candidate with less experience may be considered as Assistant Manager.
- Experience working closely with distributors, private banks, or referral partners is an advantage
- Good understanding of HNW insurance products, underwriting processes, and New Business workflows
- Knowledge of insurance regulatory, compliance,and governance requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word,PowerPoint) with strong reporting and analytical capability
- Strong stakeholder‑management and relationship‑building skills, particularly with senior external partners
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple high‑value cases concurrently
- Solution‑oriented mindset with sound judgement
- Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and service excellence
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively across functions
