Technical Specialist / Heavy Lift

Our client, a global leader in project logistics, is seeking a Technical Specialist to support the planning and execution of heavy lift, oversized, and high-value cargo projects across the region.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning and execution of heavy lift and project cargo operations.
• Develop lifting, transportation, stowage and cargo securing plans.
• Prepare CAD drawings, engineering calculations and technical documentation.
• Conduct site visits, route surveys and feasibility assessments.
• Work closely with project, engineering and operations teams to ensure safe and efficient project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards and company procedures.
• Travel overseas when required to support project execution.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Civil, Marine Engineering or related discipline.
• At least 2 years' experience in a Technical Engineer or similar role within project logistics, heavy lift, engineered transport or related industries.
• Proficient in 2D CAD, 3D modelling and structural engineering analysis.
• Experience preparing lifting plans and engineering documentation is highly preferred.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• NEBOSH or equivalent certification is an advantage.
