Senior/Programme Coordinator (1-year contract)

The Special Projects Unit (SPU) at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), University of the Arts Singapore seeks an organised, proactive and resourceful individual with a passion for arts and talent development. Join us as a Programme Coordinator and play a pivotal role in nurturing creative talent and supporting transformative initiatives at Singapore’s pioneer arts institution.

Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Assist the Head of SPU in developing talent development programmes and projects.
  2. Provide administrative and logistics support, overseeing projects from inception to completion, including developing, coordinating, and documenting detailed tasks for successful execution.
  3. Assist in formulating SPU guidelines, policies, SOPs and related documents.
  4. Assist in other duties assigned by the Head of SPU and Head of Planning and Projects office.

For Talent Accelerator Programmes (TAP)

  1. Support and manage administratively for NAFA Studios @ Cité internationale des arts Residency Programme, Special Projects Award and Special Projects.
  2. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth delivery of TAP.
  3. Oversee related processes and documentation.
  4. Manage SPU’s social media and publicity efforts.

Requirements

  • For Diploma holders, a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience is required for the Executive Officer (EO) level, and 8 years of relevant experience for the Senior Executive Officer (SEO) level.
  • For Degree holders, candidates without relevant work experience who are eager to learn and contribute to a dynamic environment are also welcome to apply for the Executive Officer (EO) level, and a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience for the Senior Executive Officer (SEO) level.
  • Positive, enthusiastic, resourceful and takes the initiative to drive results
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented with good planning and time management skills
  • Abilityto work independently and as a team player
  • Good proficiency in spoken and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for working with people of all age and preferably having an interest in the arts
