Job Description
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules and plans for building works.
- Plan and sequence construction operations according to master and detailed work programs, considering project costing.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely execution of project plans.
- Monitor progress analysis and identify critical activities to Project Manager.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines and budget constraints.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess project status and address any issues or delays.
- Prepare and present progress reports to senior management and clients.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Lead and mentor Planning Engineers
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in planning and scheduling within the construction industry, specifically building works.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and methods.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
