The Product Sales Specialist is responsible for driving both the commercial success and clinical adoption of the medical equipment (ME) product portfolio in Singapore. This role combines product expertise, consultative selling, account management, project coordination, and customer engagement to achieve business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Sales responsibility
- Product portfolio under ME Division, this includes Ventilator, Patient Monitors and Cardiology / Resuscitation devices and Neurology, and Enterprise solution.
- Full responsibility on the sales process for assigned hospitals in Singapore, Support and drive sales activities for assigned territory.
- Responsible for business development and sales growth of the ventilator product portfolio across Singapore.
- Develop strong understanding of the market landscape, customer needs, competitors, and industry trends related to ventilators and critical care product. Serve as the product expert and primary point of contact (“go-to person”) for the ventilator range of products.
- Provide product demonstration, presentation and solution to customers/end users, clinician, doctors and etc.
- Full ownership of tender opportunities / project for assigned customer account, this includes tender proposal, specification review, tender submission, and related tender enquiry etc.
- Work with ICT, Application Specialist and Engineers to provide a total solution to customer.
- Manage and provide support to channel partner, customers etc. on sales and product related requirements.
- Attend to all product related sales enquiry.
- To achieve annual sales target.
- Post-sales responsibility
- Provide end user product training, this includes training schedule planning, preparation of training materials, end user quick guide and any other materials / requirement from the customers.
- Oversees sales project fulfilment, project management and delivery/installation to customer acceptance.
- Require to work / coordinate with multiple stakeholders to ensure successful product and training delivery, and / or project deployment according to customer requirement.
- Marketing and Reporting
- Support field marketing event including exhibition, trade show and seminar/product event etc.
- Prepare regular / monthly work report, this includes sales opportunity/forecast, project progression report, update sales opportunity in salesforce etc.
- Report and review sales and business activities to reporting manager / NK management.
- Keep up-to-date on market trends, customer requirements and provide regular updates on competitors, market and industry trends.
- Be the ‘voice of customer’ and provide customer / market feedback to NK commercial team/Global product team in NK, Japan.
- Plan and support launch of new products in assigned account / geographical areas.
- Undertake any duties as required or directed as vital for achieving overall company goals.
- At least 2 – 3 years of relevant experience in the medical device business.
- Candidate with experience in Ventilator, Patient Monitoring / Cardiology related fields preferred
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
